Easter Bunnies

When he’s not driving a truck, this cute bunny also loves hanging around on rainbows. I created these two Easter cards in 2020 with my son in mind - he loves trucks, and chocolate.

I made colouring sheet versions for parents to download during lockdown here in the UK.

Process

These designs are created entirely as vector artwork in Adobe Illustrator. I sketched them by hand first and used this as a base to get a hand-drawn feel to the lines, in keeping with my style. The fresh spring palette and block vector colours are fun and child-appealing, in keeping with the characters.

Font is Tomarik by Mariya V. Pigoulevskaya. I always look to use fonts designed by Black or female typographers and credit them wherever possible.

Project completed in April 2020.
