Infographic - Single Parent Rights
Single Parent Rights Campaign founder Ruth was looking for a refreshed infographic to communicate the benefits of campaign success. The campaign is calling on the UK government to add single parents as a protected characteristic to the Equality Act. It was a joy to work on something with such a strong purpose and to contribute to a campaign that works tirelessly to improve the lives of single parents.
Process
I held a briefing meeting with the client to establish the purpose of the infographic and where it would be used. We agreed on two different sized versions for the website and for Instagram. Four additional small icons needed to be illustrated to match the style and colours of the illustration work that I had already created for the campaign. I suggested adding in the website address and campaign social media handles to drive traffic to these. We also agreed some colour changes at the final amends stage - it’s so important to me to work with the client to ensure they are happy with the design.
