Footprints Icons
These illustrated icons were created for Footprints Project to use as part of their marketing for services users. It was important to create icons to improve accessibility to their services, as many people in prison have a low reading age. Footprints Project is a not-for-profit organisation bringing a sense of community, hope and increased self-worth to socially excluded people, reducing reoffending and building stronger communities.
Process
We started the project with a briefing meeting, where we explored the purpose of the marketing and discussed the deadlines and budget constraints. I sketched and presented ideas for 13 icons that were needed, and discussed with the client what felt right for them. For ease of use across multiple projects, I created vector illustrations which can be easily resized and recoloured.
Project completed June 2021.
