Queer Christmas
This queer Christmas card was inspired by a desire to give a card that recognises how LGBTQ+ Christmas time can be very different from traditional expectations. I've included trans flag colours and colours from the progress pride flag throughout the illustration.
Process
I created the linework, drawn by hand using my favourite Unipin fineliner. I scanned this in and cleaned up some areas in Photoshop. In Illustrator I adjusted the layout, added colour fills and shading, then prepared the file for print. The design has a second colourway with a green background which I'd love to print in future.
Project completed September 2023 and sold in my Etsy store and at SoLo Craft Fair.
